Transporting earth-moving machinery to the job site by heavy goods vehicle is part of the routine in many building projects. However, questions of load securing are not always accorded the appropriate importance – lashing points in particular often provide grounds for criticism. A joint project of Goldhofer AG, Kässbohrer Geländefahrzeug AG and RUD Ketten Rieger & Dietz GmbH u. Co. KG illustrates what a secure lashing solution should really look like. The construction and logistics company Max Wild GmbH is already using these vehicles.
Aalen, August 2025 – At SPE Offshore Europe (2 to 5 September, Aberdeen, Scotland), RUD is going to focus on marine, offshore and subsea lifting technology solutions. Among other things, the company will present its broad portfolio of DNV-certified products for use in shallow water and the deep sea as well as on board ships, in ports and on offshore platforms. All the presented components have been developed for use under extreme conditions and meet the highest quality and safety requirements – even in changing and extreme weather conditions.
• Development of the first chain system in quality class 10 (grade 100) as the starting point
• The pink colour still ensures an exceptional position on the market to this day
• Temperature-related colour changes act as a reliable heat indicator
• The wide range of options for individual configuration of chain suspensions has already been used extensively
• Configured solutions now also available as CAD data records in the STEP format
• Use of the configurator will also be possible on a smartphone or tablet in future
• Resistant to pitting corrosion and surface corrosion thanks to rust-proof 1.4462 Duplex Steel
• Significantly better WLL in the load ring plane
• PSA certification for 1.6 tonne variant
Aalen, September 2024 – RUD expands its portfolio of lifting points: in addition to boltable and weldable models, the Aalen-based company now also offers a pluggable lifting point for the first time with the PIP-RAPIDO. Designed specifically for installation in through and undercut holes, it has a self-locking attachment mechanism that makes installation much easier and many times faster than with conventional lifting points.
Aalen, September 2024 – Plugging instead of bolting: with the new CCS-FASTLOX, RUD is expanding its product portfolio to include a clevis shackle with a quick-release fastener that makes the attachment of loads considerably easier and faster. The highly robust shackle can be fitted without nut and cotter pin, saving up to 80% of assembly and dismantling time compared to conventional boltable shackles.
Aalen, September 2024 – RUD presents lifting equipment for rail technology at the Innotrans 2024 (24 to 27 September in Berlin, Hall 6.2, Stand 420). The range of products on display will include lifting and load handling equipment for the entire value chain - from manufacture to maintenance and repair of rail vehicles and infrastructure. The new PIP-RAPIDO plugin lifting point and the CCS-FASTLOX clickable shackle will be presented to the industry for the first time at the trade fair, and will significantly simplify and speed up the lifting of loads thanks to innovative functional principles.
Aalen, August 2024 – This year, RUD’s appearance at AMB (10 to 14 September in Stuttgart, Hall 8, Stand 8C20) will focus on efficient lifting technology solutions for the metalworking industry. The German company is going to present its broad portfolio of lifting means for the entire value chain in the tool and mould making, mechanical engineering and plant construction industries. The pluggable lifting point PIP-RAPIDO and the clickable shackle CCS-FASTLOX will take centre stage, two new products that significantly simplify and speed up the lifting of loads thanks to an innovative functional principle.
